Two Minutes with Tamsyn

Tamsyn Murray If you could have any super power, what would you choose?

Being invisible would be pretty cool, or moving at supersonic speeds. And I wouldn’t mind being able to control people’s thoughts –  I’d tell them all to go and buy Stunt Bunny!

Which cartoon character is most like you?

There’s a character called Penelope Pitstop from a cartoon called Wacky Races who seems to get herself into a lot of sticky situations – I think I’m a bit like her because I’m always in a mess!

What is your favourite drink?

I like freshly squeezed, perfectly chilled orange juice with a green straw. For some reason, it doesn’t taste the same out of a blue one.

Are you scared of anything?

Gosh, loads of things! I used to be scared of the dark (and sometimes I still am but don’t mention that to anyone, OK?) and I don’t like spiders or snakes or traffic wardens.

What do you do for fun?

I’m a member of an amateur dramatics group, which is great because I get to dress up and pretend to be someone else on stage. So far, I’ve been a cat, an heiress, a murderer and I’ve married four different men!

Who do you admire and why?

Very brave people, like soldiers and firemen, are admirable because they put themselves in danger to help other people but I also like doctors and vets, who make people and animals feel better when they’re sick or injured. And I admire Shrek because he farts in the bath and makes it bubbly.

What is your favourite colour?

It depends on my mood – sometimes, I want to wear pink from head to toe but on other days I can’t get enough of blue things. Red is very eye-catching, too. In fact, I don’t think there’s a single colour I don’t like.

And a few quick-fire questions:

Fur or feathers?

Are we talking pillows or pets here? I like feathers to sleep on but fur on my animals.

Custard or cream?

Aw, can’t I have both? OK, cream in my coffee and custard in my doughnuts.

Four legs or two legs?

Four legs, I think, although it would make buying shoes a lot more difficult.

Gryffindor or Slytherin?

What sort of question is that?! Gryffindor, obviously. Although the Sorting Hat actually put me in Hufflepuff...

Harriet or Doodle?

Harriet because she’s funny, fluffy and fabulous
